Budding entrepreneurs Matrika Bhandari (26) and Sonu Jain (30) first crossed paths in Kolkata during the pandemic in 2021, forming a strong bond that soon grew into a shared vision. By 2022, the duo teamed up to launch Inkriti — a homegrown fashion and lifestyle label dedicated to showcasing India’s rich artisanal heritage in one place. Matrika, a textile designer, and Sonu, a chartered accountant, united over their mutual passion for craft, Sonu explains. From establishing the brand to unveiling their first collection, Inkriti is steadily carving out its place in the industry.
